
Designing and Marketing a Mobile SMS Alert SaaS Product Experience
Designed a mobile SMS alert experience for Mobile Text Alerts to improve usability and engagement, while supporting adoption through email campaigns, social media, marketing landing pages, and promotional visual assets.
Project Overview
This project focused on designing a mobile text alert experience that improves how users recieve, view, and interact with SMS notifications.
The goal was to create a clear, engaging, and easy-to-use alert system that supports quick user understanding and interaction. The project also included marketing campaigns to boost awareness, and engagement clearly communicating the system’s value and creating a seamless experience from discovery to daily use.

The Problem
Mobile alerts can often feel overwhelming, unclear, or easy to ignore, reducing their effectiveness. These issues make it harder for users to quickly understand and act on notifications. Common challenges include:
Alerts lacking clear structure or hierarchy
Limited visual distinction between alert types
Messages that are difficult to quickly scan
Low engagement due to poor presentation

The Goal
A clear visual hierarchy highlights important updates such as alerts, notifications, and response options, helping users quickly grasp what matters and take the right steps to drive higher conversions for their business.

My Role
I worked across web, visual, and UI/UX design to support the development of the mobile text alert experience.
Designing responsive interfaces, creating UI mockups and motion assets, and developing supporting visuals, such as infographics. I collaborated closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure design feasability and alignment with product goals.

Design Approach
The design approach focused on creating a clear, structured, and visually engaging alert experience that helps users quickly understand and interact with notifications and two-way conversations. A well-defined hierarchy improves readability and enables users to scan key information at a glance. A consistent design system was applied across alert types to ensure a cohesive and predictable user experience.

Outcome
The designed alert experience improves clarity, enhances visual engagement, and makes it easier for users to quickly manage subscribers and easily deliver SMS/MMS message alerts. The redesign improves the SMS messaging experience with users by refining layout and interaction patterns, and continue optimizing engagement based on user behavior.
